# Data room analytics in Peony's virtual data room

Room-wide data room analytics have been in Peony since January 13, 2026, on the Business plan and above: top files, most engaged visitors, total views, session length and downloads for the whole room. Download tracking followed on January 20, 2026, and analytics export on May 5, 2026.

## What does it do?

The Analytics tab opens on a room-wide view: total views, average session length, downloads, the most active visitors and the files getting the most attention. From there you can drill into a single document's page-by-page data or a single visitor's history.

## Who is it for?

Founders tracking which investors are engaged, advisors reading buyer interest during a process, and anyone deciding who to follow up with first.

## How does it work?

- **Top files and top visitors** (January 13, 2026).
- **Detailed visit history**, grouped by email address (January 16, 2026).
- **Download tracking**, recording each download by a recipient (January 20, 2026).
- **Visitor analytics** for data rooms (March 25, 2026).
- **Export** of more analytics data (May 5, 2026).
