# One-click NDA templates in Peony's virtual data room

One-click NDAs have been in Peony's virtual data room since July 18, 2026: an admin turns on an NDA for a visitor group and picks a saved template or uploads a new one. Acknowledge-only NDAs are on Business and above, and signed NDAs on Data Room and above.

## What does it do?

The **One-click NDA** tile sits in each visitor group's **Security control** row, next to password protection, expiry and watermarks. Turn it on and choose **Basic** (acknowledge) or **Advanced** (e-signature); with Advanced, **Select template** reuses an agreement you already built and **Upload template** opens a new NDA in the template editor.

## Who is it for?

Teams that send the same NDA to many counterparties, such as advisors running a broad sale process or founders opening a data room to a list of funds.

## How does it work?

1. Open the data room's **Permissions** tab and pick a group.
2. Turn on **One-click NDA**.
3. Choose a template, or upload your attorney-drafted NDA once and reuse it.

From August 12, 2026, links can also be created with a template NDA attached.

## Which plans include it?

Setting an NDA needs Business or above; the Advanced (e-signature) mode needs Data Room or above. See [pricing](https://www.peony.ink/pricing).

## How does it compare?

Templates remove the most repetitive step of NDA-gated sharing. Signatures are designed to meet the US ESIGN Act and EU eIDAS requirements for standard e-signatures.

## FAQ

### Can I reuse an NDA template across data rooms in Peony?

Yes. Since July 18, 2026, you can save an NDA as a template and turn it on for any visitor group with the One-click NDA setting.
