Screenshield, mobile screenshot protection for data rooms, has been in Peony since April 10, 2026, on the Data Room plan and above: it extends screenshot deterrence to iPhone, iPad and Android with a fence view that limits how much of a page a screenshot can capture.

## What does it do?

Standard screenshot protection covers supported desktop browsers. Screenshield, the **Advanced** setting, adds iPhone, iPad and Android, where it uses a fence view: only a band of the page is readable at a time, so a single screenshot captures little.

Teams whose readers increasingly open data rooms on phones, such as investors reviewing a deck between meetings or buyers reading a CIM on a tablet.

Set a visitor group's **Screenshot protection** to **Advanced**. The app notes that it "adds slight friction, but it's an effective deterrent".
