# Streamlined visitor access and a per-visitor audit trail in Peony

Since May 8, 2026, Peony's virtual data room has offered streamlined access, which lets a visitor who verified their email skip verification for 7 days, and a per-visitor audit trail tab on the Data Room plan and above.

## What does it do?

- **Streamlined access:** after a visitor verifies their email once, they do not need a new code for 7 days, which removes repeated one-time codes for frequent readers.
- **Audit trail tab:** one place to see everything a single visitor did in a data room, separate from room-wide analytics.

## Who is it for?

Rooms with readers who come back often, such as investors in an active round, and teams who need a per-person record for compliance or a dispute.

## How does it work?

Streamlined access is turned on or off from **Settings** at the bottom left of the app. The audit trail has its own tab in the data room.

## Which plans include it?

Email verification is on Business and above. The full audit trail tab is on Data Room and above. See [pricing](https://www.peony.ink/pricing).

## How does it compare?

Repeated verification is a common complaint about secure document links. A time-limited verified session keeps the email check while reducing friction for returning readers.

### Does Peony's data room have an audit trail?

Yes. On the Data Room plan and above, the audit trail tab shows everything one visitor did in a data room. Room-wide analytics sit alongside it.
