What does it do?
Single sign-on lets your team sign in to Peony with your company identity provider instead of a separate password. Your IT team manages access centrally and removes it when someone leaves.
Peony supports:
- SAML SSO with any identity provider, e.g. Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID or Google Workspace.
- Google and Microsoft sign-in (OAuth SSO).
Who is it for?
Companies whose security policy requires company sign-in for every business tool, typically larger firms, funds and regulated businesses.
How does it work?
SSO has been part of the Enterprise plan since the plan launched on June 16, 2026. Since October 15, 2026, activation has been instant and self-serve:
- The workspace owner opens SSO settings and connects the company's identity provider.
- The owner chooses Optional, where members can use SSO or their usual sign-in, or Required, where every member must sign in through SSO.
- Members choose Continue with SSO on the sign-in page and enter their work email. Invitations can be accepted through SSO.
Peony keeps workspace membership and permissions, so turning on SSO doesn't change data rooms, files or seats.
Which plans include it?
SAML SSO is on Enterprise, which has custom pricing. Google and Microsoft sign-in (OAuth SSO) is on Deal Team ($64 per admin per month billed annually, $89 billed monthly, minimum 4 admins) and Enterprise. See pricing.
How does it compare?
SAML SSO is a standard requirement in enterprise procurement and is usually reserved for enterprise tiers. Peony follows the same model, works with any SAML identity provider, and lets the workspace owner turn SSO on without waiting for a vendor setup call.
