Start, Extend, or Convert a Trial
Start a 3-day Business trial without a credit card. Convert any time from Settings → Billing.

Peony offers a 3-day Business trial with every feature unlocked. No credit card required. Everything you build during the trial — rooms, files, links, analytics, NDA settings — carries over when you convert to paid.
What's in the Trial
- Full Business features: screenshot protection, NDA gates, AI Q&A, custom domain, watermarks, page-level analytics, AI auto-indexing
- No credit card to start
- Does NOT auto-charge at the end — you must explicitly upgrade
Start a Trial
- Go to app.peony.ink and sign up with your work email.
- Enter the OTP Peony emails you.
- On the pricing screen, click Start Business Trial.
Some sign-ups require phone OTP.
If the OTP doesn't arrive within 60 seconds, check spam. Still nothing? See Can't Sign In: OTP Not Arriving or email sean@peony.ink.
Extend a Trial
We do not offer trial extensions by default. If you have a specific reason — for example, you're mid-deal or need more time to evaluate a particular feature — email sean@peony.ink or deqian@peony.ink and explain your case. Extensions are considered individually.
Convert to Paid
- Open Settings → Billing → Upgrade.
- Pick Pro ($20/admin/mo) or Business ($40/admin/mo).
- Enter card and confirm.
Your workspace flips to paid immediately. Everything you built stays.
If Trial Expired Without Converting
Your workspace drops to Free. Nothing is deleted — rooms, files, and analytics history stay. Business-tier features (screenshot protection, NDA gates, AI Q&A, custom domain, advanced watermarks, page-level analytics) are disabled until you upgrade.
Upgrade any time from Settings → Billing → Upgrade.
Adding Teammates During the Trial
Trial admins are free. Once the trial converts, each admin becomes a billable seat.
Plan ahead: three admins on Business = $120/month after trial. See Add or Remove Admin Seats.
Troubleshooting
- OTP not arriving — Can't Sign In: OTP Not Arriving.
- Phone verification stuck — try "Call me instead". Still failing? Send your phone number (with country code) to sean@peony.ink.
- "Trial already used" — email sean@peony.ink with old and new email addresses.
- Checkout fails when converting — see Upgrade, Downgrade, or Change Plan or email sean@peony.ink for a manual invoice link.
