Convert a Folder to a Data Room
Turn a regular folder in Peony, such as the copy you get from Duplicate, into a data room you can share with groups and links. Step by step.

A folder and a data room hold the same files, but only a data room can be shared with groups and links. When you duplicate a data room, the copy arrives as a folder, so converting it is the step that makes it a room again.
Steps

Go to where the folder lives (for example your team space). The label under its name says Folder, where a data room says Data room.

Open the folder's … menu and choose Convert to data room.

Rename it from the same menu if you want a different name.

Set up its Permissions: groups, links, NDA and security settings. See Share a data room link.
