About

I'm a co-founder at Peony, the data room platform 4,300+ teams use to run M&A, fundraising, and LP communications. Before Peony, I spent my career on the deal side — first in M&A at Nomura, then as an early-stage investor at Backed VC, then on the growth-equity and secondaries desk at Target Global.

I studied Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London on a full scholarship and graduated with first-class standing before dropping out to build companies full-time. I'm also a co-founder of Gingercontrol, an AI-native trade-compliance platform that raised $2.1M.

Outside Peony I advise a SaaS company at $20M ARR and Lucida Capital, a $35M AUM hedge fund and market maker. On this site I write about how investors actually run diligence, what advisors charge and why, and how to build a data room that doesn't get you screened out of a deal.
